Remember, Remember… It Is Not Yet December!

Do you remember a time when November was all about gunpowder, treason and plot? Well, not anymore. Halloween increasingly encroaches on the bonfire build up. Kids have no time to collect a penny for the guy because they are too busy trick or treating! And after all those sticky treats, they can just about sum up enough energy to head outside and watch the fireworks…And then it is already apparently Christmas!

The embers might still be burning, but the John Lewis Christmas advert is already on our screens! Becoming something of a national treasure, John Lewis has repeatedly produced adverts which melt even the most convincing Scrooge! But has the John Lewis spell just been broken?

This year, parents are complaining that John Lewis have single handedly ruined Christmas! The illusion of Father Christmas bringing all the gifts has been shattered by a loving father constructing a trampoline in the snow…hmm, John Lewis did you think this through?

However, not so disregarding of the John Lewis advert, Electronic trio Vaults, have been named as the band performing the cover of Randy Crawford’s One Day I’ll Fly Away…

For a band that has never released an album and are largely still under the radar..they seem to have talent for appearing in high profile media. For example, their song One Last Night featured in the 50 shades of grey film and was released as a single for the film’s soundtrack.

The band, who are from London/Hertfordshire formed in 2013 have uploaded songs to YouTube and SoundCloud and have had millions of plays and views. The band consists of Blythe Pepino, Ben Vella and Barney Freeman. We have a feeling this is just the beginning for these guys.
