In the video below we see Ruth Montgomery playing an excerpt from Carmen. Ruth is an acclaimed performer and has worked with some of the best orchestras including the Royal Philharmonic and the Russian National Orchestra. These achievements are impressive for any musician, but for Ruth her success is even more astonishing as she was born profoundly deaf. Ruth writes a blog on music related topics and spreads knowledge and experiences with other deaf artists in the community.
