Summary
Clicking into this site you can straight away see that this is a hub for drummers. The first tab at the top of the page is actually a shop. There are a variety of products available for sale, with good product descriptions and reviews. The second tab has many features with articles about drum set performances, concert reviews and other industry news. The third tab and the one you are probably most interested in, is the one with video lessons, play along audio files. Click into the resource library and you are presented with a range of choices. Some of the tabs are short lessons on mastering the rudiments of drum playing, whilst other have a series of videos on speed note reading. Let’s start with what we do not like about this webpage. The page is a modern looking page and it does have some useful information for those learning to play the drum. However, as this is a hub and community where people are free to upload videos, you need to do an awful lot of clicking to find the information you might want to access. What we do like is the amount of helpful information that can be found on the site. Users should note that this is not an end to end solution which will guide you through each and every part of playing the drums, however it is definitely worth dipping in and out of as a support network when using other online learning sites.
