At Learn Music Guide, we like to have our fingers on the pulse of the latest music happenings at all times! So today we bring to you Start Harp…some hot new harp lessons which are starting just next month. Read on for more information. Start Harp Lessons are due to start in September so you need to act quickly if you are at all interested? The course consists of three different levels and each level runs over a 12 week period. As you would expect, the levels cover beginner, intermediate and a more advanced level. The lessons are done via video, so no need to leave the comfort of your own home. For those that decide to sign up to the programme, they will receive, 10 weeks of lessons, a catch up in the middle and a review week at the end. They will also receive play along practice videos, invites to webinar sessions and feedback on homework. There is a wealth of information about the lessons online, however as this is a new course, it might be helpful to learn a little more about Shelley FairPlay herself! Shelley has been both a performer and teacher of the harp for over 15 years, so you should be in good hands. She was the founder of an initiative called “Harpist For A Day”, this was the idea that a new harpist could play their first note on one day and play in a concert in the evening. She has played all over Europe and the USA! Her experience is extensive and so new players should know that are in good hands. Prices for each course are different, but currently she is offering a discount.
