The sorrowful sights of muddy refugee camps, cramped with families who at the very best are just trying to survive is heart breaking to see. They are all hoping to make their way to Germany or North European countries where they can start to rebuild their lives. And last week some of those people saw some light at the end of the tunnel, when they were treated to a special classical concert with some of the most renowned names in the country.
A brilliant example of music bringing people together in difficult times and making people feel welcome. Well done to all involved.
